Immersive Projection Room: questions buyers ask
What is the difference between touch and body sensor in this room?
In the Immersive Projection Room, touch reacts when a hand meets a wall, while a body sensor reads where a person stands or moves in the room. Choose touch for walls, or a body sensor for whole-room movement.
Can the Immersive Projection Room run without any sensor?
Yes. Interaction is optional, so the Immersive Projection Room can simply play a looped show. You can add a sensor later if you decide visitors should affect the picture. Adding the sensor later is simpler if cable routes and power are planned at the start.
How many projectors will my room need?
The Immersive Projection Room has no fixed number. The count follows the surface area, the ceiling height and the sharpness you want, and we work it out from your floor plan before quoting.
Is the room suitable for one visitor or a group?
The Immersive Projection Room works for a single visitor or a group, since the picture surrounds the whole space. Group size is limited by floor area and venue safety rules rather than by the equipment.
What happens to the picture if a visitor stands in front of a projector?
In the Immersive Projection Room a visitor can cast a shadow on a wall when standing between it and a projector. Overhead mounting and blended coverage reduce this, and we plan positions to keep shadows small.
Can the room be dismantled and rebuilt elsewhere?
The Immersive Projection Room is installed to suit one space. Moving it means re-aiming projectors and re-running the blending. Tell us if you expect to relocate and we plan a mounting method that eases it. Mounting can be on trusses or ceiling brackets, depending on the room.
